The awards process culminates in a gala awards ceremony that is taking place at The Manchester Deansgate Hotel on the evening of Tuesday 3 March 2026.

We hope you can join us and the golfing community in celebrating those individuals and organisations who have done so much for the game we love.

Tickets are available for individuals, groups and tables of 10.

Included within the ticket price of £99 (inc VAT) is a sparkling drinks reception, three-course dinner with tea and coffee, and half a bottle of table wine per person.

Awarded to the county that has pioneered new initiatives, strengthened internal operations, provided education and advice to golf clubs, and put players and clubs at the heart of its work.

LIFETIME SERVICE AWARD

Honours someone who has made a remarkable contribution to golf over many years by supporting their club, county, volunteers, or visitors.

VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR

Recognises a person whose activities and achievements have made an impact on the club and players they support.

YOUNG PERSON OF THE YEAR

Awarded to a young person under 25 who represents the very best of their generation and has made a positive difference through their approach, character, activities, and ideas.

PARTICIPATION AND DEVELOPMENT COACH OF THE YEAR

A PGA-accredited coach who is inspiring new and existing players and helping them get more from the game through their passion, skills, and initiatives.

WOMEN & GIRLS TRAILBLAZER

Recognises those who have helped to tackle under-representation by raising awareness and providing opportunities for women and girls to take up the game or continue to enjoy the sport.

RESPECT IN GOLF AWARD

This award celebrates individuals, clubs, facilities or initiatives that have actively worked to make golf more inclusive, by addressing barriers and empowering under-represented communities to engage with and enjoy the sport.

SUSTAINABILITY PROJECT

Celebrating those who have run a successful sustainability project, whether that’s improving habitats, reducing inequalities, or investing in green technology.

TOURNAMENT VENUE OF THE YEAR

Awarded to a venue that has gone above and beyond in delivering an exceptional championship experience.

Wednesday 2 April 2025 saw the golfing community come together to celebrate the outstanding individuals, clubs, and initiatives that continue to shape the future of the sport at this year’s England Golf Awards.

Hosted by BBC Sport presenter Mark Chapman at The Manchester Deansgate Hotel, the annual celebration brought over 400 guests together to recognise those who have gone above and beyond this year in their contributions to golf.

As part of the celebrations, 11 different awards were handed out from across various categories, while Brenda Parker was also given a Lifetime Service Award and six new names were also inducted into England Golf’s Hall of Fame.
