The England Golf Awards celebrate all that’s great about the game we love – from volunteers to elite performers, clubs to counties, juniors to lifetime achievers.
The awards night offers us a chance to shine a light on those individuals and organisations who have done so much to promote a positive image of our sport through their own accomplishments or their selfless endeavours to help others.
THE AWARDS
The awards process culminates in a spectacular Gala Awards Ceremony, taking place at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel for the first time on the evening of Thursday 4 March 2027.
We hope you can join us, alongside the wider golfing community, for a special evening celebrating the individuals and organisations who have made an outstanding contribution to the game we love.
Tickets are available for individuals, groups and tables of 10.
Tickets are priced at £99 per person (inc. VAT) and include a sparkling drinks reception, three-course dinner and half a bottle of table wine per person.

COUNTY OF THE YEAR
Awarded to the county that has delivered a standout project or initiative, helping to support clubs and players, strengthen county operations, and create a positive impact for golf within its community.
LIFETIME SERVICE AWARD
Honours someone who has made a remarkable contribution to golf over many years by supporting their club, county, volunteers, or visitors.
VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR
Recognises a person whose activities and achievements have made an impact on the club and players they support.
YOUNG PERSON OF THE YEAR
Awarded to a young person aged 25 or under on 31 December 2026 who represents the very best of their generation and has made a positive difference through their approach, character, activities, and ideas.
THE SUSTAINABILITY PROJECT OF THE YEAR
Celebrating those who have run a successful sustainability project, whether that’s building long term water resilience, improving habitats, reducing inequalities, or investing in green technology.
WOMEN & GIRLS TRAILBLAZER
Recognises those who have helped to tackle under-representation by raising awareness and providing opportunities for women and girls to take up the game or continue to enjoy the sport.
WOMEN IN GOLF CHARTER CLUB AWARD
Recognises a Women’s Charter Club that is creating an inclusive environment for women, proactively tackling under representation, demonstrating strong governance practices, and delivering strategies to increase membership.
RESPECT IN GOLF AWARD
Awarded to the individual/s, facility, or organisation that has helped to tackle under-representation and encourage groups to take up the game or continue to enjoy the sport.
PARTICIPATION AND DEVELOPMENT COACH OF THE YEAR
A PGA-accredited coach who is inspiring new and existing players and helping them get more from the game through their passion, skills, and initiatives.
PERFORMANCE OF THE YEAR
Awarded to an amateur player or team that have achieved notable success in 2026.

TOURNAMENT VENUE OF THE YEAR
Recognising a venue that has delivered an outstanding championship experience through exceptional course presentation, player experience, and event delivery.
NEXT GENERATION CLUB AWARD
Awarded to clubs with Junior Hub accreditation, who are providing exceptional opportunities and support for the next generation to try, learn, and love golf.
HALL OF FAME
Launched in 2024 to celebrate our Centenary Year, the Hall of Fame sees a panel of experts select inductees, by recognising amazing individuals who have made outstanding contributions to golf.

Tuesday 3 March 2026 saw the golfing community come together to celebrate the outstanding individuals, clubs and initiatives helping to shape the future of the sport at this year’s England Golf Awards.
Hosted by TV presenter Chris Hollins at The Manchester Deansgate Hotel, the annual celebration welcomed more than 450 guests for an evening of recognition, inspiration and celebration.
Across the evening, 13 awards were presented, recognising achievements spanning clubs, counties, volunteers, young people, coaches, facilities and performance. The late David Lodge was honoured with the Lifetime Service Award, while eight new names were inducted into the England Golf Hall of Fame.
